Hi Friends and Followers!

I decided to write a quick post to all my lovely Acting Room friends to tell you all about a new website created by my dear husband, Ozzy Ben. It’s called CritPick.com!

CritPick is a social medial tool that allows Twitter users to share between one, two, or three images (photos, or visual ideas),
create a title/question that will be sent out as a Tweet, then get followers’ critiques and advice. They can also pick (vote on) their favorite option. This will be an AWESOME tool for actors, because it’ll be a great way you to get help picking which headshot you want to print, or for discussing favorite films or acting programs! It’ll also be a great way to publicize your projects, videos, films, or plays!

Want advice on which headshot to use? Send out a CritPick.
Deciding on a new haircut, dress, refrigerator, or sofa? Send out a CritPick.

Great for on-the-spot real-time promotions - Tweet out to your group three things that are going on at a film or theater festival.
How bout starting a discussion about your favorite, or least favorite, actor, politician, film, artist, author, book or celebrity?

You can also use CritPick as an alternative to other Twitter-based photosharing sites, and send out one, two, or three new pictures from your vacation or party or whatever you’d like. Businesses and artists can get instant feedback on ideas too: e.g. - deciding on a graphic or logo idea for a new project or website, or a new album cover.

CritPick utilizes the latest web-based technologies: is coded in Python, and hosted on Google’s Cloud Platform called Google App Engine. Facebook and phone apps coming soon as well as foreign language versions.

We’d love it if you could share this information with everyone you know, or at least try it out with a post or two. :-)
Thanks for all your love and continued support! And keep on acting!

Kirsten
