As an actor starting out a little late in the game- 28 years old- I found myself asking many of the questions on your "question list" of insecurities. :) It was incredibly freeing to read your post. I had no idea I was giving in to so much fear and handing over my power. Now I have taken a deep breath and handed my plans back over to God. Just cuz I think I'm late in the game, does not mean I've missed my opportunity. God has plans for us far better than we can imagine. I'm considering enrolling for 3 yrs in drama school - I've always thought about it over the years. Today I actually had a tour through the school and got some copies of audition monologues which I have 6months to work on for when the auditions happen. I'm trusting God for his divine plan - if he wants me there, I'll work hard & get through the auditions. For me I believe acting could be the catalyst that releases other gifts and talents in my life. Life after acting could mean a more focused and confident approach to my other music gifts, increased evangelistic qualities or anything!!! You just don't know what God has planned ahy!!!
