I thought this was very good advice. After going through a very dark period in my life, and beginning to come from out of it, on the other side , it was comforting to read this insightful article. I thought I was the only one who felt this way, and I struggled alone to find my way back, no professional help or medication. It is comforting to read others too feel this also , (experiencing a difficult period of disconnect from their once upon a time meaningful life in the past,) and realizing that you are not alone. I found this article to be very helpful, in deciding to move forward. I also read Thomas Morre's Dark night of the Soul, and found it very beneficial in understanding what was happeing to me, and how to find my way back home to myself. Thank you for the insightful article and useful advice.
