Dear Kirsten,
My name is Tiffany and I'm 18 years old. Similar to the comment before mine, my dream is to be an actress and to maybe one day direct as well. My dad is an evangelical pastor and works at an evangelical chinese/taiwanese seminary and an amazing visionary. My whole life (well, most of my life) I've heard his vision of "penetrating" the heart of the mass media to promote better values. That was when I was very young and now, I'm a first year in college, media has only gotten worse. I didn't grow up wanting to be an actress, but I got into theater during high school and found out I have a real passion for acting/directing. I've had the opportunity to serve at my church using the skills I had learned from my theater experience and realized how great the need was for Christians in media. It had never hit me how real it was. And I feel like God put it in my heart to do something about it. And now as I'm getting 'older' and learning about media and our society (thanks to a sociology class I'm taking) and trying to figure out what to do with my life and the best way to glorify God, I keep coming back to my dad's vision and how I'd love to be that vessel to make a change. Sorry for a bit of my rambling, but what it basically comes down to is this: I really love God and I love acting and I have a heart for making a change. I've prayed about this I'm certain that this is the path God would like to take me on. The only problem: How do I start? I'd love to take part in Christian films. Or anything that could get me started, but I don't know where to look. Could you give me some advice?
(I know this was very long and a lot of ramblings, but this was from my heart.)
I appreciate that you took the time to read this.
God Bless and I pray that where ever and whatever you're doing now, you have a joyful heart and you're glorifying the One worthy of praise.

Dear, Kirsten. I am Noemi I'm 14 and I've always dreamed of being an actress. But my Dad is scared that if I become an actress I'm not going to be spiritual anymore because of being with worldly people, I don't know what to do to change his mind, I've been praying about it. And I know that I can be of an example for many lives, by preaching the word to the other actors. And there's nothing that I will let get between me and the Lord. There's lot of opportunities out there for me, and I believe that this can be my chance to make a change. Can you help me! God bless you and thanks.
